Contributions to open source technologies have been central to Ultra Tendency’s strategy and ethos since our foundation.
This is in large part thanks to Jan Hentschel, CIO and Principal Big Data Solutions Architect Lead at Ultra Tendency. He is the highest ranked HBase committer working at a System Integrator globally. He is ranked as the #13 committer to Apache HBase, and has contributed to Apache Zookeeper, Avro, Nifi, Kafka, Apache Ranger, Sentry, Yarn, Ansible, Ozone, Apache Zeppelin, Apache Yetus, Alluxio and Hadoop. Jan is not alone at Ultra Tendency. Under his leadership, Ultra Tendency has become an open source powerhouse.
